Mein zweites Design für den Award war dieser Stuhl. Er ist aus einem Babusstück und mit Dampf in seine Form geboben
Die Idee ist, den Stuhl aneinander zu reihen, sodass daraus eine Bank entsteht, so wie man es im Hintergrund erkennen kann.
My second design for the award has been this chair. It is made out of a one piece bamboo wood, steam bent into shape.
The idea behind this design was, to be able to array this chair without gaps so it can turn into a bench. Just like you see in the back of the scene. Bamboo is really easy to bend when it gets moist. When it turned hard again after bending, it is really stable while still swinging a bit when sitting on it.
Building this scene was super fun and I learned a few new things, for example how to make curtains. Also the stuff in the shelf are props from stock to fill up space, which made the building process faster instead of building everything myself.
